Return & Refund Policy

Return & Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

At Sonic Boom, we aim to provide reliable and secure payment services to businesses. Because our services are digital and financial in nature, returns and refunds are handled differently from traditional physical products.

1. General Policy

Payments processed through Sonic Boom are generally considered final once successfully completed. Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the transaction, the merchant’s refund policy, the applicable payment method, and relevant laws and regulations.

2. Merchant-Initiated Refunds

Where supported, merchants may initiate refunds for eligible customer transactions through the Sonic Boom platform or by contacting our support team.

Refunds may be subject to:

  • The merchant’s applicable refund policy.

  • The original payment method.

  • Payment provider requirements.

  • Applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Processing and settlement conditions.

3. Processing Time

Once a refund has been approved and initiated, the time required for the funds to reach the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method, financial institution, payment network, and other third-party providers.

Sonic Boom does not guarantee a specific refund settlement time where processing is dependent on third parties.

4. Failed Transactions

If a transaction fails but funds have been deducted from the customer’s account, the transaction will be reviewed and, where applicable, the funds may be automatically reversed or refunded through the relevant payment channel.

Processing times for reversals may vary.

5. Duplicate Transactions

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same transaction, please contact the relevant merchant or Sonic Boom support team with the transaction details so that the payment can be investigated.

6. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, you should notify your bank, payment provider, or the relevant merchant immediately. Sonic Boom may investigate transactions where appropriate and cooperate with financial institutions and regulatory authorities.

7. Disputes and Chargebacks

Customers may be entitled to dispute certain transactions through their bank or payment provider. Chargebacks and payment disputes are subject to the rules and procedures of the relevant payment network and financial institution.

8. Contact Us

For questions regarding refunds or transaction reversals, please contact our support team with the relevant transaction information.

Sonic Boom reserves the right to update this policy when necessary to reflect changes in our services, payment networks, or applicable regulations.
